Doors
We
provide overhead,
bi-fold and
hydraulic doors in
the sizes
you want and that
makes sense for your fabric
building. They
can be installed in
the end walls or
sides. We
can also
provide framed
openings that are
prepared for doors
to be installed by
your preferred
vendor or general
contractor. A
gathered fabric door
is also an option.
We offer walk in
doors, double doors,
and patio doors,
full light doors
¯including all the
hardware packages.
Vents and Fans
We can provide
vents and fans to exchange
the air in your fabric
building. Air needs to be
rotated more
frequently in a
fabric building
tennis facility than
in a fabric storage
building. Passive louvers with
finishes appropriate
for your fabric
building's use can
be used, or, if
required, powered
fans, air rotation
units, and climate
control systems can
be installed.
Ridge Vents
Open ridge vents are
not
controllable, but are
a good
choice when housing
livestock where good
airflow continually
pushes out the peak.
Another option is a
vent
that blocks rain,
snow, and keeps birds from
entering the
building. These
vents are more
costly and do not
provide the same
open-air space, but
prevent
the rain
showers from entering
the peak. They
are one piece
intake/exhaust
vents.
Eave Extensions
Eave extensions
are a
continuation of your
roof line at the
sidewall of the
fabric building.
They are desirable
for many reasons,
including
aesthetics, to
protect doorways,
curtains and to shed
moisture away from
the fabric building
and foundation. With
eaves you will be
able to attach a
gutter system. A 2'
to 3' eave extension would
be very common.
Curtains
There are a
variety of curtain
options that are
available. Examples
include drop-down,
roll-up, and fully
automated systems
that are
thermostatically
controlled.
You may also want
side curtains for
design, such as
portholes or
scallops that can be
raised or lowered
depending upon the
current look that
you want for your
fabric building.
Insulation
We are able to
fully insulate our fabric
buildings. Depending
upon the use and
location of the fabric
building, we utilize
fiberglass batts
ranging from R-19 to
R-49.
Liners
There are
multiple fabrics
used for interior
fabric building
liners. Liners can
provide an elegant
look or be very
functional as in the
case of sports and
recreation facilities
when they are heated
or cooled. The
IBC requires
insulation, and
adding the liner
helps control
condensation and
humidity. In
corrosive
environments, (like
salt and fertilizer)
a liner helps
protect the steel
framework by
preventing contact
with the dust. The
liner helps extend
the life of the
steel.
Grain Liners
Using grain liners lower
your
cost-per-bushel.
These liners are
also a great way to
increase the
capacity in
a flat storage
fabric grain building without
increasing your
footprint,
oftentimes saving
money by limiting
costs. These
liners can be
installed right down
to the ground, or
installed above
where a concrete
wall stops.
Sprinklers
When local code
requires it, a
sprinkler system can be
installed inside
your fabric
building. The loads
for installing a
sprinkler system
will need to be
engineered into the
fabric building at
the time of quoting.
Viewing Platforms
Viewing
platforms are an
option to consider
for sports and
recreation fabric
buildings as well as
equine riding and
training arenas.
Conveyors and
Catwalks
Conveyors and
catwalks are used in
buildings for various
bulk storage needs.
No matter what the
commodity, i.e., grain, salt,
or aggregates we
are able to design
our fabric buildings
to support the load
of the conveyors and
catwalks without
adding column
supports within your
building.
Your fabric building
estimate / quote
would have the
engineering included
for these extra
loads to the
building frame and
foundation. |
